Save the Date: Fall Advertising Career Days
**Open to all College Students intersted in Advertising/Marketing/Communications jobs**.

Event Description
Sign up for Advertising Career Days sponsored by thinkLA & MAT Program and you'll get a firsthand look at all the opportunities available in advertising. You'll learn about the inner workings of an advertising agency or media company. Career Day is open to juniors, seniors and recent graduates.


Career Day I - Agency/Company Tour
Friday, October 23, 2009, 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Presented by: thinkLA, a media, marketing and advertising collaborative

Agencies Confirmed: Davis Elen Advertising, Deutsch, Ignited, MediaVest, RPA and Trailer Park Inc.

Students visit one agency/company in the afternoon in groups of 30. Students will be responsible for providing their own transportation to the agency/company that is assigned to them. All students will receive a confirmation email once they have registered as to what location they will be visiting.


Career Day II - The New Interactive Landscape & Networking
Saturday, October 24, 2009, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Presented by: The MAT Program

Day number two will be filled with a comprehensive look at the ever changing advertising landscape. From Social Networking, the Interactive Landscape and the various technologies used today to practical advice on job hunting through a tough market. The day will conclude with a unique opportunity to network firsthand with representatives from some of the top advertising and media agencies in Southern California. Students will be responsible for providing their own transportation to the agency. Free parking will be available on-site. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Professor/Faculty: Free*

*All students and faculty must pre-register. No walk-ins will be accepted.
**A late fee of $10 will be applied on any registrations placed after 10/22/09.


Cancellation & Return Check Policy
To cancel an event registration and to receive a full refund you must contact our office 3 business days (by 5:00 PM) prior to the event date. No refunds will be issued after this time period. Please contact Kari at the thinkLA office at kari@thinkla.org to cancel or for any registration questions. The last day to cancel and receive a full refund for this event is Monday, October 19, 2009 at 5:00 PM PDT. A $15 Return Check Fee will be assessed on any dishonored checks.
